It all started in 2011.
One hot summer day, our founder, Chrissy Liptrot, realized she was lactose-intolerant and could no longer enjoy most store bought or restaurant-baked desserts.

Despondent, she turned to her cookbooks, desperately trying to figure out how she could possibly change her dairy-full recipes into dairy-free creations.
This is how it all began. For Goodness Cakes, NY! was born a short while later, and what was once a dairy-free hobby blossomed into an allergy-free bakery*.
Whether you are dairy-free, gluten-free, nut-free, soy-free, vegan, or just want something delicious, we specialize in accommodating your needs.
*Please note that while we do make our desserts allergy-free, we do not keep a completely allergy-free kitchen.
