I’m always trying to think of new flavor combos, and the best ones come from customers who are dying for vegan versions of their favorites! My mother has been lactose intolerant for a long time, and like us vegans, she has trouble finding dessert that she can eat out! She has been dying for a lemon drizzle pound cake! She begged me to make it, and here it is!

I have fond memories of early Sunday morning doughnuts with my grandparents. My grandpa would go to the bakery, get jelly doughnuts, twisties, and crullers, and we would eat them all day. These cinnamon sugar twists remind me of those days and the wonderful grandparents I had.
